Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a driver to intuitively and simply instruct a vehicle to overtake.SOLUTION: In a drive assist device (10), an image output section (14a) outputs an image including an own vehicle object representing an own vehicle and another vehicle object representing another vehicle in front of the own vehicle object to a display section (31). An operation signal input section (14b) receives user's operation to change a positional relation between the own vehicle object and the other vehicle object in the image displayed on the display section (31). A command output section (14c), when the positional relation is changed in a manner to place the own vehicle object in front of the other vehicle object, outputs a command to instruct the own vehicle to overtake the other vehicle to a vehicle operation control section (20) which controls automatic operation.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】運転者が車両に追越を指示する操作を直感的かつ簡便に行う。【解決手段】運転支援装置(10)において、画像出力部(14)は、表示部(31)に、自車を表す自車オブジェクトと、当該自車オブジェクトの前に他車を表す他車オブジェクトを含む画像を出力する。操作信号入力部(14)は、表示部(31)に表示された画像内の自車オブジェクトと他車オブジェクトとの位置関係を変更するユーザの操作を受け付ける。コマンド出力部(14)は、自車オブジェクトが他車オブジェクトの前に位置するよう両者の位置関係が変更された場合、自車が他車を追い越すことを指示するコマンドを、自動運転の制御を行う自動運転制御部(20)に出力する。【選択図】図1
