Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a positioning device that is advantageous to accuracy of a position coordinate management.SOLUTION: A positioning device to be fixed to a microscope device including a first focusing unit causing a stage having a sample loaded to move to a Z-direction is fixed to the microscope. The positioning device includes: a second focusing part (16, 17 and 23) that causes the stage to move to the Z-direction in response to an operation of a first operation unit, and is narrower in a movable range toward the Z-direction than the first focusing part; and a movement part (14, 41, 42 and 43) that is fixed to the second focusing part, and causes the stage to move to X and Y directions in response to an operation of a second operation unit.
