PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a folding margin to be arranged in an additional knit such as a collar rib and side rib including a tubular plain knit part by a flat knitting machine including only one front/rear pair of needle beds and to enable the additional knit to be sewn and attached on a body part in a linear sewing line and by overcasting sewing by utilizing the folding margin.SOLUTION: The knitted garment manufactured by the manufacturing method of the invention is of such a type that additional knits 2 and 3 sewn and attached on a neckline or armhole of a body part 1 include a belt-shaped tubular plain knit part 5 extending along an edge sewn and attached on the body part 1. The additional knits 2 and 3 include: a folding line part 6 consisting of a single knit fabric knitted in one or plural courses continuously in the tubular plain knit 5; and a folding margin 7 consisting of a single knit fabric continuing to the folding line part 6 and folded in the folding line part 6 to an inner side and the tubular plain knit part side. The folding line part 6 is sewn and attached on the body part 1 in a linear sewing line 9 along the folding line part 6 and by overcasting sewing through matching and edging an edge of the neckline or armhole of the body part 1 and an edge of the folding margin 7.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】袋編部を備える襟ゴムや脇ゴム等の付属編に、前後一対しかニードルベッドを備えない横編み機で折代部を設けられるようにし、この折代部を利用して、付属編を線状縫製線とかがり縫いにより身頃部に縫着できるようにする。【解決手段】本発明に係る製造方法によって製造されるニット製衣服は、身頃部１の襟ぐり、又は袖ぐりに縫着される付属編２，３が身頃部１に縫着された端縁に沿って延びる帯状の袋編部５を備えるタイプのニット製衣服である。付属編２,３は、袋編部５に連続して一又は複数コースに編成された一枚編地からなる折線部６と、折線部６に連続した一枚編地からなり折線部６で内側かつ袋編部側へ折り返された折代部７とを備える。折線部６は、折線部６に沿った線状縫製線９と、身頃部１の襟ぐり、又は袖ぐりの端部と折代部７の端部を合わせて縁どりするかがり縫いにより身頃部１に縫着する。【選択図】図２
