PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for easily producing a hydroentangled nonwoven fabric having a spot-like pattern.SOLUTION: A method for producing a hydroentangled nonwoven fabric includes the steps of: supporting a fiber web obtained by accumulating constituent fibers, on a holed substrate; and jetting a water flow from the side of the fiber web toward the holed substrate. In the steps, a synthetic resin sheet is made present between the holed substrate and the fiber web. The synthetic resin sheet is obtained by forming a punched pattern, such as a design or character 2, in a synthetic resin sheet body 1. Due to the presence of the synthetic resin sheet, part of the constituent fibers is moved into the punched pattern, such as the design or character 2, by the action of the water flow. In the obtained hydroentangled nonwoven fabric, a projected pattern corresponding to the punched pattern is formed in a spot-like pattern.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】 スポット的な模様を持つ水流交絡不織布を簡便に製造する方法を提供する。【解決手段】 この水流交絡不織布の製造方法は、構成繊維が集積されてなる繊維ウェブを孔開き支持体上に坦持させる工程及び繊維ウェブ側から孔開き支持体に向けて水流を噴射する工程とを具備する。この際、孔開き支持体と繊維ウェブとの間に、合成樹脂製シートを存在させておく。ここで、合成樹脂製シートは、合成樹脂製シート１本体に図柄や文字２の打ち抜き模様が形成されてなるものである。この合成樹脂製シートが存在することによって、水流の作用によって、構成繊維の一部を図柄や文字２の打ち抜き模様内に移動させる。得られた水流交絡不織布は、打ち抜き模様に対応した凸模様がスポット的に形成されたものである。【選択図】 図１
