PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hollow fiber membrane module which secures sealing function between a tube plate and core tubes while preventing the occurrence of cracks or the like due to curing shrinkage of the tube plate and, at the same time, can prevent the deterioration of function due to adhesiveness between the core pipes and hollow fiber membranes.SOLUTION: A hollow fiber membrane module 10 includes core tubes 70 and hollow fiber membrane bundles 30 made of an assembly of a plurality of hollow fiber membranes 20 arranged along a longitudinal direction of the core tubes 70 around the core tubes 70. Therein, end parts of the hollow fiber membrane bundles are fixed by tube plates 50, 51 made of potting agent. Outer surfaces of the core tubes 70 and inner surfaces opposite to the core tubes on the tube plate are set as a non-joint state and a sealing member 71 which seals between the core tubes and the tube plate, and separates the core tubes from the hollow fiber membranes 20 opposite to the core tubes is arranged between the outer surface of the core pipes and the inner surface of the tube plate.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】管板の硬化収縮によるクラック等の発生を防止しながら、管板と芯管とのシール機能を確保しつつ、芯管と中空糸膜との密接による機能低下を防止することができる中空糸膜モジュールを提供すること。【解決手段】中空糸膜モジュール１０は、芯管７０と、該芯管７０の周囲に該芯管７０の長手方向に沿って配置された複数の中空糸膜２０の集合体からなる中空糸膜束３０とを備え、該中空糸膜束の端部がポッティング剤からなる管板５０、５１によって固定されている。芯管７０の外面と、前記管板における該芯管と対向する内面とが非接合状態となっており、芯管の外面と前記管板の前記内面との間に、該芯管と該管板との間を密封し、且つ該芯管と該芯管に対向する中空糸膜２０とを離間させるシール部材７１を配置している。【選択図】図２
