Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for measuring microbial colonies, the method including dyeing microorganisms to avoid the aggregates of microbial colonies to be dissolved on contact with a reagent, avoid the shape of the microorganism colonies on the medium from changing, and allow the microorganisms to continuously grow even after the measurement.SOLUTION: The present invention provides a method for measuring microorganism colonies 4 formed on a culture medium 1. The method includes: a culture step of culturing microorganisms on a medium 1; an attachment step of attaching at least one of a predetermined fluorescent reagent and a predetermined antibody as a deposit to a porous membrane 3; a porous membrane 3 placing step of placing the porous membrane 3 on the culture medium 1 and dyeing the microorganisms with the deposit after the culturing step; and a measurement step of irradiating excitation light from above the porous membrane 3 being placed and measuring the microorganism colonies 4 by observing fluorescence emitted by the microorganisms via the porous membrane 3 from above.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】微生物を染色することで、試薬を接触させたときに微生物コロニーの凝集体が溶解しないようにし、培地上の微生物コロニーの形状が変化することなく、測定後も引き続き微生物を培養可能にする微生物コロニーの測定方法の提供。【解決手段】培地1上で微生物を培養する培養工程と、所定の蛍光試薬及び所定の抗体のうちの少なくとも1種を、多孔質膜3に付着物として付着させる付着工程と、前記培養工程の後に、多孔質膜3を培地1上に載置し、前記付着物により微生物を染色する多孔質膜3載置工程と、前記載置されている多孔質膜3の上方から励起光を照射し、多孔質膜3を介して微生物により発せられる蛍光を上方から観測することにより微生物コロニー4を測定する測定工程と、を行う、培地1上に形成される微生物コロニー4の測定方法。【選択図】図1
