Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that uses a booster circuit for both a charger and a developing device, the image forming apparatus capable of suppressing a movement of a developer during a falling process that is a process of stopping power supply to the charger and developing device.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus comprises: a photoreceptor drum; an electrostatic charger; a developing device; and a power supply circuit 40 including a transformer 60. In a falling process that is a process to stop power supply to the electrostatic charger and developing device, when power supply from the transformer 60 to a developing device-side power supply circuit 70 is stopped, the image forming apparatus delays attenuation of a power to be supplied to the developing device.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 【課題】帯電器及び現像装置に用いられる昇圧回路を共用化した画像形成装置であって、帯電器及び現像装置への電力供給を停止する過程である立下げプロセスの際に、現像剤の移動を抑制することができる画像形成装置を提供する。【解決手段】画像形成装置は、感光体ドラム、帯電チャージャ、現像装置、トランス６０を含む電源回路４０を備える。帯電チャージャ及び現像装置への電力供給を停止する過程である立下げプロセスにおいて、画像形成装置は、トランス６０からの現像装置側電源回路７０への電力供給が停止された際に、現像装置へ供給される電力の減衰を遅延させる。【選択図】図３
