Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary machine capable of reducing stress concentration on a connecting portion between a flange and a cylindrical portion of a casing due to the diameter reduction of the cylindrical portion.SOLUTION: A rotary machine is equipped with an impeller 12 disposed in a heat insulation container 8, and a casing 15 which stores the impeller 12 and is connected to piping 3a. The casing 15 is equipped with a cylindrical portion 19 which surrounds at least a part of a rotary shaft 13 of the impeller 12 in the heat insulation container 8, and has a lower end portion 19b disposed on the impeller side, and a fixed flange portion 20 which is connected to an upper end portion 19a of the cylindrical portion 19, and fixed to the heat insulation container 8. With reference to an axis La direction of the rotary shaft 13, a connecting portion 19x between the fixed flange portion 20 and the cylindrical portion 19 is provided close to the lower end portion 19b side than a fixed portion 20f of the fixed flange portion 20 fixed to the heat insulation container 8.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 【課題】ケーシングのフランジと筒状部との接続部に対し、筒状部の縮径に起因して生じる応力集中を低減できる回転機械を提供することを目的とする。【解決手段】断熱容器8内に配置されたインペラ12と、インペラ12を収容すると共に、配管3aに接続されたケーシング15と、を備え、ケーシング15は、断熱容器8内で、少なくともインペラ12の回転軸13の一部を包囲すると共に、下端部19bがインペラ側に配置された筒状部19と、筒状部19の上端部19aに接続され、断熱容器8に固定された固定フランジ部20と、を備え、回転軸13の軸線La方向を基準にした場合に、固定フランジ部20と筒状部19との接続部19xは、断熱容器8に固定された固定フランジ部20の固定部20fよりも下端部19b側に寄って設けられている。【選択図】図3
