Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixation device and an image forming apparatus which can efficiently heat a rotor even if there is a deviation in a positional relation between a reflection member and a heat source.SOLUTION: A fixation device comprises: an endless rotor; a contact member which contacts the outer peripheral surface of the rotor; a nip formation member which forms a nip part by contacting the contact member through the rotor; a reinforcement member which has a standing part standing from the nip formation member to the inner side of the rotor; a heat source which is arranged at the position facing the side surface of the standing part on the inner side of the rotor and heats the rotor with radiation heat; and a reflection member which is arranged in contact with or close to the reinforcement member and reflects the radiation heat with a reflection surface. The reflection member includes parallel plane parts in two stages at the positions facing the standing part on the reflection surface and an inclined plane part connecting these plane parts. The plane part located at the farther position from the nip formation member out of the two plane parts is located at a position farther from the heat source with respect to the other one, and the heat source is located at the position facing the inclined plane part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】反射部材と加熱源との位置関係がずれても、回転体を効率良く加熱することができる定着装置及び画像形成装置を提供する。【解決手段】無端状の回転体と、回転体の外周面と接触する接触部材と、回転体を介して接触部材と当接しニップ部を形成するニップ形成部材と、ニップ形成部材から回転体の内側に向けて起立する起立部を有する補強部材と、回転体の内側で起立部の側面と対向する位置に配置され、輻射熱により回転体を加熱する加熱源と、補強部材に接触または近接して配置され、前記輻射熱を反射面で反射する反射部材とを備えた定着装置において、反射部材は、反射面における起立部と対向する位置に、平行で且つ段違いの二つの平面部と、これらを繋ぐ傾斜平面部とを有し、二つの平面部のうち二ップ形成部材から遠い位置に位置する平面部は他方のよりも加熱源から遠ざかる位置に位置しており、傾斜平面部と対向する位置に加熱源を位置させた。【選択図】図1 |
