Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device for an internal combustion engine capable of detecting failure of a humidity sensor used to correct a control target value of the internal combustion engine, with high accuracy in a state of driving the internal combustion engine.SOLUTION: A control device for an internal combustion engine includes intake air humidity measurement means (51) for measuring a relative humidity in an intake pipe, and intake air temperature measurement means (51) for measuring an intake air temperature, and humidity sensor failure determination means (52) is disposed to determine failure of a humidity sensor when the relative humidity is raised when the temperature is raised, or when the relative humidity is lowered when the temperature is lowered from the correlation of the intake air humidity and the intake air temperature. As the failure of the humidity sensor can be diagnosed in a state of driving the internal combustion engine, a correct control target value can be determined on the basis of a measurement value of the humidity sensor which normally functions.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 【課題】内燃機関の制御目標値を補正するために使用されている湿度センサの故障を、内燃機関が駆動されている状態で精度よく検出することができる内燃機関用制御装置を提供することにある。【解決手段】吸気管内の相対湿度を測定する吸気湿度測定手段(51)と、吸気温度を測定する吸気温度測定手段(51)を備え、吸気湿度と吸気温度の相関関係から温度が上昇したときに相対湿度が上昇したとき、または温度が低下したときに相対湿度が低下したときに湿度センサが故障していると判定する湿度センサ故障判定手段(52)を設ける。これによれば、内燃機関が駆動されている状態で湿度センサの故障診断が可能となるため、正常に機能している湿度センサの測定値に基づいて正確な制御目標値を求めることができる。【選択図】図6
