Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the time required for starting an engine.SOLUTION: A crank pulley 4p mounted on a crank shaft 4 of an internal combustion engine and a motor pulley 8p mounted on a rotary shaft 8s of a motor generator 8 are connected to each other by a belt 10. When the internal combustion engine is to be started, the motor generator is driven at start time torque and thus the crank shaft is rotated via the belt, without performing an igniting operation of the internal combustion engine. Then, the igniting operation of the internal combustion engine is started. When the igniting operation of the internal combustion engine is started, the start time torque is increased.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】機関始動に要する時間を短縮する。【解決手段】内燃機関のクランクシャフト4に取り付けられたクランクプーリ4pと、モータジェネレータ8の回転シャフト8sに取り付けられたモータプーリ8pとをベルト10により互いに連結する。内燃機関を始動すべきときには、内燃機関の点火作用を行うことなく、モータジェネレータを始動時トルクでもって駆動し、それによりベルトを介してクランクシャフトを回転させ、その後、内燃機関の点火作用が開始される。内燃機関の点火作用が開始されるときに始動時トルクを増大する。【選択図】図1
