PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fishing spinning reel downsized while protecting a reverse rotation prevention mechanism.SOLUTION: A fishing spinning reel comprises: a reel body 2 in which a cylindrical part 2b protruding forward is formed; a driving shaft cylinder 10 rotatably supported in the cylindrical part 2b; a rotor 3 connected to the driving shaft cylinder 10; and a reverse rotation prevention mechanism that prevents the reverse rotation of the rotor 3. An opening part 2e is formed in a side wall of the cylindrical part 2b. The reverse rotation prevention mechanism comprises: a reverse rotation prevention gear 12 formed in the driving shaft cylinder 10 and arranged in the cylindrical part 2b; a cam 30 fitted to the driving shaft cylinder 10 and arranged in the cylindrical part 2b; and a reverse rotation prevention claw 20 arranged in the opening part 2e and opposing the reverse rotation prevention gear 12 and the cam 30.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 【課題】逆転防止機構の保護を図りつつ、小型化された魚釣用スピングリールを提供する。【解決手段】前方に突出する筒部２ｂが形成されたリール本体２と、筒部２ｂ内に回転自在に支持された駆動軸筒１０と、駆動軸筒１０に連結するロータ３と、ロータ３の逆転を防止する逆転防止機構と、を備えた魚釣用スピングリールであって、筒部２ｂの側壁に開口部２ｅが形成され、逆転防止機構は、駆動軸筒１０に形成されて筒部２ｂ内に配置された逆転防止歯車１２と、駆動軸筒１０に装着されて筒部２ｂ内に配置されたカム３０と、開口部２ｅ内に配置されて逆転防止歯車１２及びカム３０と対向する逆転防止爪２０と、を備えたことを特徴とする。【選択図】図３
