PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an efficient and suitable feedback method and device in a suitable radio communication system, especially multiple antenna support radio communication system.SOLUTION: A method for transmitting channel state information on downlink transmission through an uplink in a radio communication system according to one embodiment of the present invention includes the steps of: transmitting an RI by first sub-frame; and transmitting a first PMI, a second PMI, and a wideband CQI by second sub-frame. The method indicates a precoding matrix favored by a terminal by the combination of the first PMI and the second PMI, applies a codebook obtained by sub-sampling a precoding codebook for each of ranks 1-4 to the first PMI and the second PMI.
