Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve measurement accuracy of transmission line loss in an optical transmission segment using a Raman amplifier.SOLUTION: Transmission line loss calculation section 80 may calculate transmission line loss in an optical transmission segment using a Raman amplifier on the basis of a transmission optical power which is measured by a power measurement section 40, a received optical power which is measured by power measurement section 70 and a gain which is calculated by a Raman amplifier calculation section 60. The transmission line loss calculation section 80 may correct the transmission line loss according to variation in the number of wavelength of wavelength multiple light in the optical transmission segment.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】ラマン増幅器を用いた光伝送区間の伝送路損失の測定精度を向上する。【解決手段】伝送路損失算出部80は、パワー測定部40で測定された送信光パワー及びパワー測定部70で測定された受信光パワーと、ラマン増幅算出部60で算出した利得と、に基づいて、ラマン増幅器を用いた光伝送区間の伝送路損失を算出してよい。また、伝送路損失算出部80は、光伝送区間における波長多重光の波長数の変化に応じて、前記伝送路損失を補正してよい。【選択図】図1
