PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic connector for improving a part or all of defects that it is sometimes difficult to determine the case where an electronic connector is oriented in a correct insertion position.SOLUTION: A dual orientation connector has a connector tab with first and second major opposing sides and a plurality of electrical contacts carried by the connector tab. The plurality of contacts include a first set of external contacts formed at the first major side and a second set of external contacts formed at the second major side. Each contact among the plurality of first contacts is electrically connected to a corresponding contact among the plurality of second contacts at a tab or at the inside of a body. In one embodiment, contacts, which directly face each other, among the plurality of the first and second contacts are integrally connected.
