Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering device having a transmission ratio variable device that can prevent a rotary shaft from idling (freely rotating) when stopping power supply to a rotation drive source without providing a lock device for locking the rotation of the rotary shaft of the rotation drive source in a non-rotatable manner.SOLUTION: A transmission ratio variable device 1 of a steering device comprises a variable mechanism 3 for varying a ratio of deceleration or acceleration of rotation by a planetary gear device 2. The variable mechanism 3 comprises: a carrier driving gear 21 composed of a worm wheel fixed to a carrier 14 and rotating concentrically; a carrier driving worm 25 composed of a worm meshing with the carrier driving gear 21; and a rotation drive source 23 for rotating the carrier driving gear 21, in which a rotary shaft 23a is fixed to the carrier driving worm 25. The carrier driving worm 25 and the carrier driving gear 21 meshing with each other are set to self-locking gear specifications.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】回転駆動源の回転軸の回転を不能にロックするロック装置を設けずに、回転駆動源への電力供給の停止時等において、回転軸が空転(自由回転)することを防ぐことができる伝達比可変装置を備えたステアリング装置を提供する。【解決手段】ステアリング装置における伝達比可変装置1は、遊星歯車装置2による回転の減速又は増速の比率を変化させる可変機構3を備える。可変機構3は、キャリヤ14に固定され同心に回転するウォームホイールで構成されたキャリヤ駆動用歯車21と、キャリヤ駆動用歯車21と噛み合うウォームで構成されたキャリヤ駆動用ウォーム25と、キャリヤ駆動用歯車21を回転させるとともに、回転軸23aがキャリヤ駆動用ウォーム25に固定された回転駆動源23とを備える。互いに噛み合うキャリヤ駆動用ウォーム25及びキャリヤ駆動用歯車21はセルフロックするギヤ諸元に設定される。【選択図】図1 |
