Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a discomfort degree estimation device capable of estimating a discomfort degree with high accuracy when estimating the discomfort degree to a video having frequently changed luminance, if average luminance greatly differs region-by-region.SOLUTION: A discomfort degree estimation device 1 includes: a block luminance value calculation unit 10 which calculates a block luminance value of an image; a movement vector detection unit 20 which detects a movement vector between each one frame of a subject, on the basis of the block luminance value; a block-by-block magnitude measurement unit 30 which measures a block-by-block magnitude on the basis of the block luminance value and the movement vector; a block-by-block average luminance calculation unit 40 which calculates a block-by-block average luminance value obtained by averaging, in a predetermined time, the average value of block-by-block luminance values in a region centering each block; a discomfort degree calculation unit 50 which calculates the discomfort degree on the basis of the block-by-block magnitude and the block-by-block average luminance; and a discomfort degree correction unit 60 which obtains a corrected discomfort degree in which correction is made to reflect a time accumulation effect.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】頻繁に輝度変化する映像に対する不快度を推定するに際し、領域ごとの平均輝度が大きく異なる場合においても高精度に不快度を推定することができる不快度推定装置を提供する。【解決手段】不快度推定装置1は、画像のブロック輝度値を算出するブロック輝度値算出部10と、ブロック輝度値に基づいて被写体の1フレーム間の移動ベクトルを検出する移動ベクトル検出部20と、ブロック輝度値及び移動ベクトルに基づいてブロック別マグニチュードを計測するブロック別マグニチュード計測部30と、各ブロックを中心とした領域内におけるブロック別輝度値の平均値を所定時間内で平均したブロック別平均輝度を算出するブロック別平均輝度算出部40と、ブロック別マグニチュード及びブロック別平均輝度に基づいて不快度を算出する不快度算出部50と、時間蓄積効果を反映するよう補正された補正済み不快度を得る不快度補正部60と、を備える。【選択図】図1
