Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ceramic heater for suppressing specific resistance of a heating resistor while securing strength and inhibiting cracks from being generated in the heating resistor.SOLUTION: A ceramic heater includes: a base material made of insulating ceramics; and a heating resistor which is formed in the base material and contains tungsten carbide (WC) and silicon nitride (SiN). In an arbitrary cross-section of a heating resistor 20, the ratio of an area of a tungsten carbide portion to the whole area is 33 to 67% and an average diameter of tungsten carbide aggregate measured by a line intercept method is 1.4 to 7.0 μm.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
【課題】強度を確保しつつ発熱抵抗体の比抵抗を抑える共に、発熱抵抗体におけるクラック発生を抑えセラミックヒータを提供する。【解決手段】セラミックヒータは、絶縁性セラミックからなる基体と、基体内に形成されて炭化タングステン(WC)および窒化珪素(Si3N4)を含有する発熱抵抗体と、を備える。発熱抵抗体20の任意の断面において、全面積に対する炭化タングステン部分の面積の割合が33〜67%であり、ラインインターセプト法により計測した炭化タングステン凝集体の平均径が、1.4〜7.0μmである。【選択図】図4 |
