Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology of properly managing vacancy information of a locker with a simple way.SOLUTION: An availability confirmation apparatus includes: an image information storage unit which stores in advance unoccupied-locker video information including an image of a locker associated with locker-identification information; a locker determination unit which reads the unoccupied-locker video information from the image information storage unit, by using locker-identification information associated with current video information as a key, on receipt of the current video information associated with the locker-identification information; an availability determination unit which compares the unoccupied-locker video information read by the locker determination unit with the current video information associated with the locker-identification information received by the locker determination unit, to determine that the locker is occupied when there is a predetermined difference between the two; and an availability presentation unit which presents the state determined by the availability determination unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】より簡便な方法によりロッカーの空き情報を適切に管理する技術を提供する。【解決手段】使用状況確認装置であって、ロッカーを識別する情報に関連付けられたロッカーが写り込んでいる未使用時映像情報を予め記憶する画像情報記憶部と、ロッカーを識別する情報が関連付けられた現況の映像情報を受け付けると、当該現況の映像情報に関連付けられているロッカーを識別する情報をキーとして、画像情報記憶部から未使用時映像情報を読み出すロッカー判別部と、ロッカー判別部により読み出された未使用時映像情報と、ロッカー判別部が受け付けたロッカーを識別する情報が関連付けられた現況の映像情報と、を比較して所定の差異がある場合には使用状態にあると判別する使用状況判別部と、使用状況判別部が判別した使用状態を提示する使用状況提示部と、を備える。【選択図】図１
