Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in which: it has been difficult to suppress ultrafine particles from being discharged to the outside of an apparatus while cooling recording materials with cooling means.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus comprises an ejection roller pair 51 for ejecting recording materials to a loading part 14 from the inside of an apparatus body 100 and cooling means. The cooling means has ventilation ports 37R and 37L for blowing air to recording materials from a direction intersecting with a recording material conveyance direction, arranged in an area formed above a position of a nip part of the ejection roller pair 51 and below an extension line of a tangent line from the nip part of the ejection roller pair 51.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 【課題】 冷却手段によって記録材を冷却しつつ、超微粒子が機外へ放出されることを抑制することが難しかった。【解決手段】 装置本体内100から積載部14に記録材を排出するための排出ローラ対51と、冷却手段と、を有し、冷却手段は、記録材の搬送方向と交差する方向から記録材に送風するための送風口37R、37Lを、排出ローラ対51のニップ部の位置よりも上側で、且つ排出ローラ対51のニップ部の接線の延長線よりも下側で形成される領域に配置されることを特徴とする。【選択図】 図4
