PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a module which prevents generation of breaking due to the gap between a housing-side metallic holder and a connector-side metallic holder by increasing the strength.SOLUTION: The optical module includes: a metallic housing containing a photoelectric converter; and an optical receptacle 23.
