Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more accurately search for corresponding points in a corresponding point search method for searching for corresponding points between a plurality of images, irrespective of an image to be used.SOLUTION: In a corresponding point search method of this invention, a preliminarily set first approach is used to search for corresponding points between a plurality of images for each of pixels in a reference image out of the plurality of images. A second approach different from the first approach is used to search for corresponding points between the plurality of images for each of the pixels in the reference image out of the plurality of images. For each of segment regions into which the reference image used in the first approach is segmented, it is determined whether search accuracy of corresponding points obtained by the first approach is equal to or higher than a reference value or not (S430). Further, corresponding points obtained by the first approach are employed for segment regions where the search accuracy is the reference value or higher, and corresponding points obtained by the second approach are employed for segment regions where the search accuracy is lower than the reference value, thereby setting corresponding points between the plurality of images (S420 and S440).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10 【課題】複数の画像間の対応点を探索する対応点探索方法において、利用する画像に拘わらず、より精度よく対応点の探索ができるようにする。【解決手段】本発明の対応点探索方法においては、予め設定された第1の手法を用いて複数の画像のうちの基準画像中の画素毎に複数の画像間の対応点を探索する。また、第1の手法とは異なる第2の手法を用いて複数の画像のうちの基準画像中の画素毎に複数の画像間の対応点を探索する。そして、第1の手法において利用した基準画像を複数に区分した区分領域毎に、第1の手法による対応点の探索精度が基準値以上であるか否かを判定する(S430)。さらに、探索精度が基準値以上である区分領域にて前記第1の手法による対応点を採用し、探索精度が基準値未満である区分領域にて第2の手法による対応点を採用することで、複数の画像間の対応点を設定する(S420,S440)。【選択図】図10
