Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide injectors for injecting fluids into patients.SOLUTION: An auto purge for an intravenous contrast injector of the type having a motor which advances a plunger drive ram and configured for use with a pre-filled or user-filled syringe containing an approximate known amount of air includes a processor which causes the motor to move, and a memory which stores a predetermined purge stop point representative of the approximate known amount in the syringe. The injector is configured to automatically advance the plunger drive ram by an amount substantially equal to the predetermined purge stop point representative of the approximate known amount of air contained in the syringe.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 【課題】患者の中に流体を注入するための注入器を提供すること。【解決手段】プランジャ駆動ラムを前進させるモータを有し、且つ概ね既知量の空気を含有するプレフィルド又はユーザーフィルドシリンジと共に使用するよう構成されたタイプの静脈造影注入器用自動パージであって、モータを動かすプロセッサ、及びシリンジ中の概ねの既知量を表す所定のパージ停止点を記憶するメモリを含み、注入器は、シリンジに含有される概ね既知量の空気を表す所定のパージ停止点に実質的に等しい量、プランジャ駆動ラムを自動的に前進させるように構成されている。【選択図】図6
