Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheave opening amount measurement method of a CVT which can accurately measure a sheave opening amount in an operation state of the CVT.SOLUTION: Inclinations of movable sheaves 11b, 21b are calculated on the basis of distances which are detected by a first displacement gauge 30 which opposes external peripheral ends of the movable sheaves 11b, 21b in a peripheral direction, and a second displacement gauge 31 which opposes the external peripheral ends of the movable sheaves 11b, 21b in the peripheral direction. Sheave openings are calculated on the basis of the calculated inclinations of the movable sheaves 11b, 21b, and distances which are detected by a third displacement gauge 32 which opposes a back face 40b of a fixed sheave 11a being a face opposite to belt slide faces 40a of the fixed sheaves 11a, 21a in an axial direction, and a fourth displacement gauge 33 which opposes the external peripheral ends 41c of the movable sheaves 11b, 21b in the axial direction in a position which is displaced to the third displacement gauge 32 by a prescribed distance in the axial direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 【課題】CVTの稼働状態においてシーブ開き量の計測を精度良く行うことができるCVTのシーブ開き量計測方法を提供する。【解決手段】周方向において可動シーブ11b、21bの外周端部に対向する第一の変位計30、及び周方向において可動シーブ11b、21bの外周端部に対向する第二の変位計31によりそれぞれ検出された距離に基づいて可動シーブ11b、21bの傾きを算出する。算出した可動シーブ11b、21bの傾きと、軸方向において固定シーブ11a、21aのベルト摺動面40aと反対の面である固定シーブ11aの背面40bに対向する第三の変位計32、及び第三の変位計32に対し軸方向に所定の距離だけずれた位置で軸方向において可動シーブ11b、21bの外周端部41cに対向する第四の変位計33によりそれぞれ検出された距離と、に基づいてシーブ開きを算出する。【選択図】図3
