PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device for a friction brake that can inhibit a rise in temperature of a friction material to control a decline in coefficient of friction.SOLUTION: The control device 12 for the friction brake 10 corrects pressing force of the friction materials 16A, 16B with respect to a kinetic body 14 that corresponds to a brake command based on the temperature of the friction materials 16A, 16B and controls the friction materials 16A, 16B to be pressed onto the kinetic body 14 based on the corrected pressing force.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】摩擦材の温度上昇を抑えて摩擦係数の低下を抑制することの可能な、摩擦ブレーキの制御装置を提供する。【解決手段】摩擦ブレーキ１０の制御装置１２は、制動指令に対応する運動体１４に対する摩擦材１６Ａ，１６Ｂの押圧力を摩擦材１６Ａ，１６Ｂの温度に基づいて補正し、補正された押圧力に基づいて摩擦材１６Ａ，１６Ｂを運動体１４に押圧させる。【選択図】図１
