Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas generator capable of further enhancing operation reliability.SOLUTION: A gas generator is configured so that: a combustion chamber and a compression gas chamber 35 are partitioned with a partition wall 40 having penetration holes in a thickness direction; a space between the compression gas chamber 35 and a diffuser part 20 is closed by a rapture disk 38; and a diameter reduction part 50 as stopper means formed on an inner wall face 10a of a cylindrical housing. When the partition wall 40 is moved in an axial direction by pressure of combustion gas during operation, the partition wall collides with the diameter reduction part 50 and is stopped, so that it does not collides with the diffuser part 20.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】作動の信頼性がより高められたガス発生器の提供。【解決手段】燃焼室と加圧ガス室35の間が厚さ方向に貫通孔を有する隔壁40で仕切られ、加圧ガス室35とディフューザ部20の間が破裂板38で閉塞され、さらに筒状ハウジングの内壁面10aに形成されたストッパ手段としての縮径部50を有している。作動時に燃焼ガスの圧力を受けて隔壁40が軸方向に移動したとき、縮径部50に衝突して停止されるため、ディフューザ部20に衝突しない。【選択図】図2
