Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power conversion device in which a capacitor charge circuit is formed from a little components and which is adaptable to hot swap that enables, while an inverter and a converter of at least one power conversion unit are operated, a capacitor of at least another power conversion unit to be charged and connected.SOLUTION: The power conversion device comprises a plurality of power conversion units each formed from a converter, an inverter and a chopper. The power conversion device comprises: a first circuit breaker that is provided between a chopper circuit input terminal that is built in a first power conversion unit among the plurality of power conversion units, and a DC reactor that is connected to a DC power source; and a second circuit breaker for connecting a positive electrode terminal of another second power conversion unit that is different from the first power conversion unit, the DC power source and the DC reactor.
