Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive system which can further enhance regeneration efficiency.SOLUTION: A drive system for an electric railway vehicle comprises: electric power supply means which obtains direct-current power from the exterior of a vehicle; an inverter device which converts direct-current power into alternating-current power; at least one AC motor driven by the inverter device; a direct-current chopper circuit which is connected to a DC side of the inverter device in parallel; and a power storage device which is connected to the direct-current chopper circuit. The system has isolation means which conducts an electric current flowing from the electric power supply means towards the inverter device and changes an electric current flowing from the inverter device towards the electric power supply means between a conduction state and a shutdown state by a control signal. Before regenerative electric power is generated from the AC motor by the inverter device, the power storage device is electrically discharged by the direct-current chopper circuit, thereby previously rising direct-current voltage of the inverter device.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】回生効率をさらに向上できる駆動システムを提供することが課題となる。【解決手段】本発明の電気鉄道車両の駆動システムは、車両の外部から直流電力を得る給電手段と、直流電力を交流電力に変換するインバータ装置と、インバータ装置により駆動される少なくとも1台以上の交流電動機と、インバータ装置の直流側に並列に接続された直流チョッパ回路と、直流チョッパ回路に接続された蓄電装置とを備えており、給電手段からインバータ装置の方向に流れる電流は導通させ、インバータ装置から給電手段の方向に流れる電流は制御信号により導通と遮断の状態を切替える切離し手段を有し、前記インバータ装置により前記交流電動機から回生電力を発生させる前に、前記直流チョッパ回路により前記蓄電装置を放電させて前記インバータ装置の直流電圧を予め昇圧することを特徴とする。【選択図】図1 |
