PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical fiber with a connector plug, which has high reliability even in a severer environment.SOLUTION: An optical fiber with a connector plug 1b has an optical connector plug 20 connected to the side of a front end 11 of an optical fiber 10 extending in a longitudinal direction and is internally provided with a protection tube 100 through which the optical fiber is inserted, and the optical connector plug holds a ferrule 40 therein and has an opening for leading out the optical fiber to a rear end 61, and the optical fiber has the front end side inserted from a rear end 43 of the ferrule while being opened at a front end 41 of the ferrule, and the protection tube has the side of a front end 101 inserted into the optical connector plug in a loose state and has the front end separated from the rear end of the ferrule.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 【課題】より過酷な環境下でも高い信頼性を有するコネクタプラグ付光ファイバを提供する。【解決手段】前後方向に延長する光ファイバ１０の前端１１側に光コネクタプラグ２０が接続されてなるコネクタプラグ付光ファイバ１ｂであって、内部に光ファイバが挿通された保護チューブ１００を備え、光コネクタプラグは、内部にフェルール４０を保持するとともに、後端６１に光ファイバを導出するための開口部を有し、光ファイバは、前端側がフェルールの後端４３から挿通されつつ当該フェルールの前端４１にて開口し、保護チューブは前端１０１側が光コネクタプラグ内に遊嵌状態で挿入されているとともに、前端がフェルールの後端と離間している。【選択図】図４
