PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a movement whose aesthetic design can be improved by three-dimensionally varying the motion of a hand, and a timepiece equipped with this movement.SOLUTION: A movement is equipped with a step motor 14 having a rotor shaft 14d, which is a drive shaft, and a second hand spindle 16 that moves a short pointer, which is a hand, according to the rotation of the rotor shaft 14d, and this second hand spindle 16 is arranged with an inclination relative to the rotor shaft 14d. As the short pointer therefore can be moved with an inclination relative to the rotor shaft 14d of the step motor 14, the moving direction of the short pointer can be inclined relative to the moving direction of the rotor shaft 14d to enable the movement of the short pointer to be three-dimensionally varied, resulting in a variety of aesthetic design possibilities and accordingly in enhanced design quality.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 【課題】指針の運針を立体的に変化させてデザイン性を向上させることができるムーブメントおよびそれを備えた時計を提供する。【解決手段】駆動軸であるロータ軸１４ｄを有するステップモータ１４と、ロータ軸１４ｄの回転に応じて回転して指針である小針を運針させる第２の指針軸１６と、を備え、この第２の指針軸１６がロータ軸１４ｄに対して傾いて配置されている。従って、ステップモータ１４のロータ軸１４ｄに対して小針を傾けて運針させることができるので、小針の運針方向をロータ軸１４ｄの回転方向に対して傾けることができ、これにより小針の運針を立体的に変化させることができるので、変化に富んだデザインを得ることができ、デザイン性を向上させることができる。【選択図】図５
