Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a soil moisture meter capable of keeping water in a column pipe for a long period, having a small number of members, and securing responsibility of measurement.SOLUTION: A soil moisture meter includes a column pipe 1 that has a bottomed cylindrical shape such that one end (lower end 12) is closed, and the other end (upper end 13) is opened. Also, the soil moisture meter includes a water supply tank 2 communicating with the inside of the column pipe 1, and a detection unit 3 communicating with an upper end (top surface 22) side in the water supply tank 2 and configured to detect pressure in the column pipe 1 through an air layer 102 stored on the upper end (top surface 22) side of the water supply tank 2. The one end (lower end 12) side of the column pipe 1 has a water permeable part 11 having water permeability. For the water supply tank 2, a cross section area on a lower end (bottom surface 21) side in a direction orthogonal to a vertical direction is made larger than a cross section area on the upper end (top surface 22) side.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】長時間柱管に水を保つことができ、かつ少ない部材で構成され、測定の応答性を確保する土壌水分計を提供する。【解決手段】土壌水分計は、一端(下端12)が閉塞し、他端(上端13)が開口するする有底筒状に形成される柱管1を備える。また、土壌水分計は、柱管1内に連通する給水タンク2と、給水タンク2内の上端(天面22)側に連通して、給水タンク2の上端(天面22)側に貯められた空気層102を介して柱管1内の圧力を検知する検知部3とを備える。柱管1の一端(下端12)側は、透水性を有する透水部11を有する。給水タンク2は、上下方向に直交する方向における下端(底面21)側の断面積が上端(天面22)側の断面積よりも大きく形成される。【選択図】図1
