Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developed position holding mechanism for suppressing change in a developed position of an armrest even in a case where a back-rest angle of a seatback is changed, which has an excellent structural strength.SOLUTION: A developed position holding mechanism 10 for suppressing change in an angle of developed position of an armrest 5 relative to the floor even in a case where a back-rest angle of a seatback 2 is changed comprises a foldable linking mechanism 10A jointed with a pin so as to make a folding action together with rising/folding rotation of the armrest 5 at a position between the floor and the armrest 5. Developed position of the armrest 5 is restricted in a mechanism where each of links 11, 12 consisting the foldable linking mechanism 10A rotate in a manner where an open angle θ between the links is increased so that the links contact each other by the development of the armrest 5. Even in a case where the seatback 2 is tilted backward, each of the links 11, 12 rotate in a manner where the open angle θ between the two is decreased so that the armrest 5 is allowed to be developed to a position where the links 11, 12 are made in contact each other, resulting in that the armrest 5 has a development angle closer to the angle before backward-tilting.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 【課題】シートバックの背凭れ角度が変えられてもアームレストの展開位置の変化を抑える展開位置保持機構を、構造強度の高い構成とすること。【解決手段】アームレスト5の展開位置をシートバック2の背凭れ角度が変えられてもフロアに対する角度変化を抑える展開位置保持機構10は、フロアとアームレスト5との間にアームレスト5の起倒回転に伴って屈伸運動するようにピン連結された屈伸リンク機構10Aを有する。アームレスト5の展開により屈伸リンク機構10Aを構成する各リンク11,12が互いの開き角度θを広げる形で回転し互いに当接することでアームレスト5の展開位置が規制され、シートバック2が後傾しても各リンク11,12が互いの開き角度θを狭める形に回転することでアームレスト5が各リンク11,12を互いに当接させる位置まで展開可能となって後傾前の展開角度に近づけられる。【選択図】図3
