PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stern addition object and a ship capable of suppressing wave drag and suppressing increase of viscosity pressure resistance, and improving fuel consumption performance of a ship body.SOLUTION: There is provided a stern addition object 1 disposed on a lower face of a stern part 22 of a ship 2, comprising an apex P forming a maximum height h on a position separated from a ship body center line (vertical ship body center line CLv or horizontal ship body center line CLh) by constant distance b. The stern addition object is formed so as to be symmetric sandwiching the ship body center line (vertical ship body center line CLv and horizontal ship body center line CLh).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】造波抵抗を抑制しつつ粘性圧力抵抗の増加を抑制し、船体の燃費性能の向上を図ることができる、船尾付加物及び船舶を提供する。【解決手段】船舶２の船尾部２２の下面に配置される船尾付加物であって、船体中心線（垂直船体中心線ＣＬｖ又は水平船体中心線ＣＬｈ）から一定の距離ｂだけ離れた位置に最大高さｈを形成する頂点Ｐを備えている。船尾付加物１は、船体中心線（垂直船体中心線ＣＬｖ及び水平船体中心線ＣＬｈ）を挟んで左右対称に形成される。【選択図】図１
