Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a posture of an eye more steadfastly and accurately.SOLUTION: An image information acquisition unit acquires a tomographic image which is an image of a cross section in a direction roughly parallel to an eye axial direction in an eye of a patient. An image recognition unit recognizes each region of the eye on the tomographic image by image recognition based on the tomographic image. A control unit calculates the posture of the eye based on the result of the recognition of each region of the eye. By recognizing each region of the eye based on the tomographic image, and calculating the posture of the eye based on the recognition result, the posture of the eye can be obtained more steadfastly and accurately. This technology can be applied to a surgery system.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 14 【課題】より堅強かつ高精度に眼の姿勢を求めることができるようにする。【解決手段】画像情報取得部は、患者の眼における眼軸方向と略平行な方向の断面の画像である断層画像を取得する。画像認識部は、断層画像に基づいて画像認識により断層画像上の眼の各部位を認識する。制御部は、眼の各部位の認識結果に基づいて、眼の姿勢を算出する。このように、断層画像に基づいて眼の各部位を認識し、その認識結果に基づいて眼の姿勢を算出することで、より堅強かつ高精度に眼の姿勢を求めることができる。本技術は、手術システムに適用することができる。【選択図】図14
