Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power converter capable of reducing low order input current harmonics in the case of failure of one inverter cell in a multiple inverter configuration.SOLUTION: The power converter comprises: three sets of series circuits SCu to SCw including three or more cells each composed of a single-phase inverter, connected in series to three pairs of secondary windings having N voltage phase differences of a multi-winding transformer; short circuit switches provided on output sides of respective cells; and an integrated control device 30 for performing, at a cell failure, on-control of a short circuit switch of the failed cell. The integrated control device divides the inverter cells into a first group of normal cells of a series circuit to which the failed cell belongs, a second group of two cells having the same voltage phase of the failed cell out of two series circuits not including the failed cell, and a third group of remaining cells, controls the output voltages of the first group of cells to be equal voltages and controls the output voltage of at least one of the second group and the third group to a voltage different from the equal voltage.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】多重インバータ構成で、1台のインバータセルの故障時に、低次の入力電流高調波を低減できる電力変換装置を提供する。【解決手段】単相インバータで構成される3台以上のセルを直列に接続した3組の直列回路SCu〜SCwを、多巻線変圧器のN個の電圧位相差を有する3組の二次側巻線に接続し、各セルの出力側に短絡スイッチを設け、セルの故障時に該当するセルの短絡スイッチをオン制御する統括制御装置30を備え、統括制御装置は、故障したセルの属する直列回路の正常なセルによる第1群と、故障したセルを含まない2つの直列回路のうち故障したセルの電圧位相が同じ2つのセルによる第2群と、残りのセルの第3群とに分け、第1群のセルの出力電圧を等しい等電圧に制御し、第2群及び前記第3群の少なくとも一方の出力電圧を等電圧と異なる電圧に制御する。【選択図】図1
