Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin body imaging device that is excellent in handling or operability, and can implement efficient shooting.SOLUTION: A thin body imaging device 1 comprises: a device main body 2; a sandwiching member 3A that is pivotally held by the device main body 2; and a pressing member 3B that is pivotally held by one or both of the device main body 2 and the sandwiching member 3A, and presses the sandwiching member 3A with respect to the device main body 2. One of the device main body 2 and the sandwiching member 3A includes a shooting window 4, and internally includes an illumination light source 5 that radiates the shooting window 4 with illumination light, and an imaging unit 6 that photographs light passing through the shooting window 4.
