Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure and a method for reinforcing a steel girder that appropriately reinforce a steel girder having a roughly H-shaped cross-section.SOLUTION: A steel girder reinforcing structure 100 has a pair of energizing means 10 formed on both sides of a web 1c of a steel girder 1 having a roughly H-shaped cross section. Since the energizing means 10 energizes in a direction to separate an upper flange 1a from a lower flange 1b, the steel girder 1 may be reinforced so as to suppress an oscillation that causes the web 1c to deflect in a direction orthogonal to a bridge axis. Especially, the steel girder reinforcing structure 100 may be configured by installing the energizing means 10 between the upper flange 1a and the lower flange 1b using expanding force of an elastic member 13. As such, the steel girder 1 may be reinforced in a short period of time without welding the energizing means 10 to the steel girder 1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】略H形断面を有する鋼桁を好適に補強することができる鋼桁補強構造及び鋼桁補強方法を実現する。【解決手段】略H形断面を有する鋼桁1のウェブ1cの両側に対を成して付勢手段10を設置した鋼桁補強構造100において、付勢手段10は上フランジ1aと下フランジ1bを離間させる方向に付勢しているので、ウェブ1cが橋軸直角方向に撓む首振りを抑制するように鋼桁1を補強することができる。特に、弾性部材13が拡張する力を利用して、上フランジ1aと下フランジ1bの間に付勢手段10を設置して鋼桁補強構造100を構築することができるので、付勢手段10を鋼桁1に溶接することなく、短時間の作業で鋼桁1の補強を行うことを可能にした。【選択図】図1
