Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water discharge device that is pleasantly usable without any feeling of physical disorder even when a detection area where water discharge is determined is wide such that no wrong water discharge is caused when a user does not desire to discharge water and water is immediately discharged when the user desires to discharge water.SOLUTION: A control unit has a water discharge suppression time in which water discharge is suppressed after water is discharged from a discharge port, and is configured to control a valve on detecting a detection signal in the water discharge suppression time by comparison with a predetermined threshold so as to discharge water, a predetermined threshold in the water discharge suppression time being a first threshold, and a predetermined threshold in normal time being a second threshold different from the first threshold.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 【課題】吐水を判定する検知エリアが広い場合においても、使用者が吐水させたくないときに誤吐水してしまうことが無く、且つ吐水させたいときにはすぐに吐水し、違和感無く快適に使用できる吐水装置を提供する。【解決手段】制御部は、吐水口からの止水後に吐水を抑制する吐水抑制時間を有しており、吐水抑制時間中の検知信号を所定の閾値と比較することで検知しバルブを制御して吐水するものであり、吐水抑制時間中の所定の閾値は第一の閾値、通常時の所定の閾値は第一の閾値とは異なる第二の閾値とすることを特徴とする。【選択図】図3
