PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coupled torsion beam axle for a vehicle capable of dispersing a roll moment that concentrates on both right and left ends of a torsion beam.SOLUTION: A coupled torsion beam axle includes a torsion beam 10 arranged in car width direction and a trailing arm 20 arranged along length direction of a car body at both ends of the torsion beam 10. Relating to the torsion beam 10, one plate material so processed that a length from a center line in width direction of a narrow and long plate material to right and left edges gradually changes is press-molded to form a molding that has an open type cross section of an inverted "U" shape, with a cross section width of the cross section in length direction of a car body of the torsion beam 10 gradually changing between the center in the car width direction and both right and left sides trailing arms 20, and with an edge of the cross section being wavy.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】トーションビームの左右両端に集中するロールモーメントを分散できるようにした車両用カップルドトーションビームアクスルを提供する。【解決手段】車幅方向に配置されるトーションビーム１０と、トーションビーム１０の両端に車体の長さ方向に配置されるトレーリングアーム２０と、を含むカップルドトーションビームアクスルにおいて、トーションビーム１０は、狭長な板材の幅方向の中心線から左右の縁までの長さが順次変化するように加工された一つの板材をプレス成形して逆「Ｕ」字形状の開放型断面を有する成形品を形成し、車幅方向の中央から左右の両側トレーリングアーム２０までの間でトーションビーム１０の車体の長さ方向断面の断面幅が順次変化し、断面の縁がウェーブ形状をなすことを特徴とする。【選択図】図２
