PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of a failure in an image formation apparatus due to the influence of an erroneous wiring receptacle by detecting the existence of the erroneous wiring receptacle in which a ground line is connected to a terminal for a neutral line and the neutral line is connected to the terminal for the ground line in a building.SOLUTION: An image formation apparatus comprises: a power source device which is connected to any L line of a three-phase four-wire system AC power source and a neutral line of a three-phase four-wire system AC power source; a communication I/F part which is connected to another device via a cable; a determination circuit which outputs a determination signal indicating whether or not there is an erroneous wiring receptacle that is a receptacle with such erroneous wiring that a ground line is connected to a terminal which should be connected with a neutral line and the neutral line is connected to the terminal which should be connected with the ground line in a building; and a control part which recognizes whether or not there is the erroneous wiring receptacle on the basis of the determination signal and displays a message about the erroneous wiring on a display panel when it is recognized that there is the erroneous wiring receptacle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 【課題】建物内に中性線用の端子に接地線を、接地線用の端子に中性線を接続した誤配線コンセントが有るか否かを検知し、誤配線コンセントの影響に起因する画像形成装置での故障発生を防ぐ。【解決手段】画像形成装置は、３相４線式の交流電源のうち何れか１つのＬ線と３相４線式の交流電源の中性線と接続される電源装置と、ケーブルを介して他の機器と接続される通信Ｉ／Ｆ部と、中性線を接続すべき端子に接地線を接続し、接地線を接続すべき端子に中性線を接続する誤った配線がなされたコンセントである誤配線コンセントが建物内にあるか否かを示す判定信号を出力する判定回路と、前記判定信号に基づき前記誤配線コンセントがあるか否かを認識し、前記誤配線コンセントがあると認識したとき誤配線に関するメッセージを表示パネルに表示させる制御部と、を含む。【選択図】図５
