Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat pipe type heat sink capable of increasing a heat transport quantity by each pipe of a heat pipe and also efficiently obtaining large capacity.SOLUTION: A heat pipe type heat sink 1 is such that a heat transfer block 20 to which a heating element A is fitted has a plurality of loop type heat pipes 10 having heat radiation fins 15 provided at a pipe looped in one plane. Then a plurality of pipes of the heat pipe 10 are arranged obliquely such that while the plane is put perpendicularly, bottom parts of the respective pipes are put on one horizontal straight line and upper parts are spread in two right and left directions. The heat transfer block 20 is provided with the respective pipes of the heat pipe 10 such that at least lower straight pipe parts 11a and U-shaped pipe parts 12 of lower parts thereof are in contact with each other.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】 ヒートパイプの各管による熱輸送量を増すことができるとともに、大容量化を効率的に実現することが可能なヒートパイプ式ヒートシンクを提供する。【解決手段】 ヒートパイプ式ヒートシンク1は、発熱体Aを取り付けた伝熱ブロック20に対し、一平面内でループをなす管に放熱フィン15を設けてなるループ形のヒートパイプ10を複数取り付けたものである。そしてヒートパイプ10の複数の管を、上記平面を鉛直にし、水平な一直線上にそれぞれの最下部を置くとともに上部を左右2方に広げて傾斜配置している。伝熱ブロック20に対しては、ヒートパイプ10の各管を、その下部のうち少なくとも下側直管部11aおよびU字管部12において接触するように取り付けている。【選択図】 図1
