PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To certainly suppress cooling failure due to defrosting failure, both in a case where a cooling storehouse is used as a freezer and in a case where it is used as a refrigerator.SOLUTION: A cooling storehouse capable of used not only as a freezer but also as refrigerator, includes a control unit 40 that stops rotation of a compressor to defrost an evaporator when a preset defrosting start condition is established, and then resumes rotation of the compressor when it is determined that defrosting work ends. The control unit 40 determines whether the defrosting work ends, on the basis of the temperature of the evaporator detected by an evaporator temperature sensor 43, both in a case where the cooling storehouse is used as a freezer and in a case where it is used as refrigerator.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 【課題】冷却貯蔵庫が冷凍庫として使用される場合も冷蔵庫として使用される場合も除霜不良による冷却不良をより確実に抑制すること。【解決手段】冷凍庫としても冷蔵庫としても使用可能な冷却貯蔵庫であって、予め設定されている除霜開始条件が成立すると圧縮機の回転を停止させて蒸発器を除霜し、その後に除霜が終了したと判断すると圧縮機の回転を再開させる制御部４０を備え、制御部４０は、冷却貯蔵庫が冷凍庫として使用される場合も冷蔵庫として使用される場合も、蒸発器温度センサ４３によって検出された蒸発器の温度に基づいて除霜の終了を判断する。【選択図】図３
