PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gear device which secures a high degree of freedom for design, and which can achieve both a high change gear ratio and quietness.SOLUTION: A gear device includes: a first gear in which a driving force of a motor is inputted; a second gear which engages with the first gear; a third gear which integrally rotates coaxially with the second gear; and a fourth gear which engages with the third gear. Then, the gear device is constituted in such a manner that an engagement phase between the first gear and the second gear for constituting a first speed reduction part 31 becomes a reverse phase from an engagement phase between the third gear and the fourth gear for constituting a second speed reduction part 32.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 【課題】高い設計自由度を確保して、高い変速比と静粛性とを両立させることのできるギヤ装置を提供すること。【解決手段】ギヤ装置は、モータの駆動力が入力される第１ギヤと、この第１ギヤに噛合する第２ギヤと、この第２ギヤと同軸に一体回転する第３ギヤと、この第３ギヤに噛合する第４ギヤと、を備える。そして、ギヤ装置は、第１減速部３１を構成する第１ギヤと第２ギヤとの間における噛み合いの位相と第２減速部３２を構成する第３ギヤと第４ギヤとの間における噛み合いの位相とが逆位相となるように構成される。【選択図】図３
