PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform an easy detection of irregular state of an idle speed control valve without performing any complex control operation.SOLUTION: Each of a first bypass passage part and a second bypass passage part for use in bypassing a throttle valve is provided with an idle speed control valve and an adjustment valve capable of performing manual changing of an opening degree. The idle speed control valve is controlled in such a way that its average degree of opening may become a first degree of opening at the time of a first idle operation carried out after starting a first idle operation. A determination part for judging irregularity of idle speed control valve determines that the idle speed control valve shows an irregularity state when a maximum value in which an engine speed at the time of second idle operation is subtracted from an engine speed at the time of first idle operation is less than a prescribed irregularity threshold A.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 【課題】複雑な制御をすることなく、アイドル回転速度制御バルブの異常を容易に検出する。【解決手段】スロットルバルブをバイパスする第１バイパス通路部および第２バイパス通路部には、それぞれ、アイドル回転速度制御バルブと、手動で開度を変更可能な調整バルブが配置される。アイドル回転速度制御バルブは、エンジンユニットの始動後に行う第１アイドル運転時に、平均開度が第１開度となるように制御され、第１アイドル運転後に連続して行う第２アイドル運転時に、平均開度が第１開度よりも小さい第２開度となるように制御される。アイドル回転速度制御バルブ異常判定部は、第１アイドル運転時のエンジン回転速度から、第２アイドル運転時のエンジン回転速度を引いた値の最大値が、所定の異常判定閾値Ａ未満の場合に、アイドル回転速度制御バルブに異常が有ると判定する。【選択図】図４
