Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve noise reduction effect of a muffler, and to suppress a temperature rise in an upper part of the muffler.SOLUTION: A muffler 50 includes: a box-shaped housing 51 having an inflow port 52a which is connected to an exhaust port 36 of an engine and into which exhaust gas flows, and an exhaust outlet 53a which exhausts the exhaust gas flowing therein; a partition plate 56 which partitions an inside of the housing 51 into a first chamber 61 including the inflow port 52a and a second chamber 62 including the exhaust outlet 53a; and a tubular part 80 provided on the partition plate 56 and allowing the exhaust gas to flow out downward in the second chamber 62 after allowing the exhaust gas to flow in from a lower portion of the first chamber 61 and guiding the exhaust gas to an upper portion of the second chamber 62.
