PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automobile carrying ship comprising liftable decks, having not single layer but multi layers of a number of the liftable decks between upper and lower decks fixed to a ship body, for, reducing man hour required for changing a vertical position with a relatively simple structure, coping with various vehicle heights of the automobiles mounted thereon, and mounting many automobiles, and an automobile mount method on the same.SOLUTION: An automobile carrying ship 1 comprises plural liftable decks 32a, 32b provided between upper and lower decks 31, 33 fixed to a ship body, being lifted up and down between the vertical decks 31, 33, moving to plural vertical positions being set in advance, and fixed and supported at respective vertical positions.
