Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scraper, in which during cutting, chips are prevented from getting entangled with the scraper and a pipe so as to allow fusion between the pipe and a joint to be secured and a blade to be moved with comparatively small force.SOLUTION: A scraper 1 comprises a scraper main body 11 having an insertion hole 13 into which an end part of a pipe P can be inserted formed therein and a blade 21 having a cutting blade 21C for cutting an outer peripheral surface ES of the end part of the pipe, which cuts the outer peripheral surface of the end part of the pipe by rotating the scraper main body around a center shaft line CL of the pipe while pressure-contacting the cutting blade of a blade with the outer peripheral surface of the end part of the pipe inserted into the insertion hole. The scraper further comprises a cover 31 which moves between a close position where the cutting blade of the blade is covered from outside of the scraper main body and an open position where the cutting blade of the blade is exposed to outside the scraper main body, where a space S for storing chips of the pipe is formed between the blade and the cover when the cover is at the close position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 【課題】切削の際に切屑がスクレーパ及びパイプに絡まることが防止されて、パイプと継手と間の融着を確実し、かつブレードの移動を比較的小さな力で可能にする。【解決手段】本発明は、パイプPの端部を挿入することのできる挿入穴13が形成されているスクレーパ本体11と、パイプの端部外周面ESを切削する切刃21Cを有するブレード21とを備え、ブレードの切刃を挿入穴に挿入されているパイプの端部外周面に圧接させた状態で、スクレーパ本体をパイプの中心軸線CL回りに回転させて、パイプの端部外周面を切削するスクレーパ1に関する。本発明のスクレーパは、ブレードの切刃をスクレーパ本体の外側から覆う閉位置と、ブレードの切刃をスクレーパ本体の外側に露出させる開位置との間で移動するカバー31をさらに備え、カバーが閉位置にあるときに、ブレードとカバーとの間に、パイプの切屑を収容する空間Sが形成される。【選択図】図3
