Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lubricant state sensor for an industrial robot capable of enhancing the maintainability over conventional counterparts while preventing failed detection of the state of lubricant in a reduction gear of an industrial robot.SOLUTION: A lubricant state sensor 50 to be attached to an industrial robot for detecting a state of lubricant 40a in a reduction gear of an industrial robot includes: an oil state detection unit for detecting a state of the lubricant 40a; a radio communication unit for transmitting a detection result from the oil state detection unit by radio; and a power supply unit for supplying power for the oil state detection unit and the radio communication unit. The power supply unit comprises: a thermoelectric conversion element 56 for converting a temperature difference between a temperature of the lubricant 40a heated by driving of the industrial robot and a temperature around the industrial robot into electric power; and a fixed part 61 a part of which is arranged inside the lubricant 40a and conducts heat of the lubricant 40a to the thermoelectric conversion element 56.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 【課題】 産業用ロボットの減速機の潤滑油の状態の検出の失敗を抑えながら従来よりメンテナンス性を向上することができる産業用ロボット用潤滑油状態センサーを提供する。【解決手段】 産業用ロボットの減速機の潤滑油40aの状態を検出するために産業用ロボットに取り付けられる潤滑油状態センサー50は、潤滑油40aの状態を検出する油状態検出部と、油状態検出部の検出結果を無線によって送信する無線通信部と、油状態検出部および無線通信部に電力を供給する電力供給部とを備えており、電力供給部は、産業用ロボットの駆動によって熱せられた潤滑油40aの温度と、産業用ロボットの周囲の温度との温度差を電力に変換する熱発電素子56と、一部が潤滑油40aの中に配置されて潤滑油40aの熱を熱発電素子56に伝導する固定部61とを備えていることを特徴とする。【選択図】 図5
