【課題】電気光学ディスプレイを駆動するのに好適な方法を提供すること。【解決手段】複数のグループに分けられた複数のピクセルを持つディスプレイを以下により駆動する。複数のピクセル・グループの各々を連続的に選定し、選定したグループのピクセルの各々に駆動電圧又は非駆動電圧のどちらかを印加し、第一フレーム期間内にすべてのピクセル・グループのスキャンを完了し、第二フレーム期間中にピクセル・グループのスキャンを繰り返し、第一と第二フレーム期間との間の休止期間においてはピクセル・グループのスキャンを中断し、この休止期間は第一及び第二フレーム各期間の長さを超えない。【選択図】図1A |
