Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydraulic control device for an automatic transmission capable of alleviating a shock when switching from a running range to a non-running range, without providing an accumulator.SOLUTION: A hydraulic control device for an automatic transmission includes: a range switching device 21; a solenoid valve SL5 which can engage a first brake B1 by supplying a running range pressure while adjusting the running range pressure to a hydraulic servo 22 of the first brake B1 in a running range; a solenoid valve SLU which outputs a hydraulic pressure at least in a non-running range and which can supply the hydraulic pressure to the solenoid valve SL5 in the non-running range; and a fail-safe valve 70 which, in the case where an engagement pressure of the first brake B1 and an engagement pressure of a second brake B2 are inputted, switches from a normal position capable of supplying the engagement pressure of the second brake B2 to a cutoff position for cutting off the supply of the engagement pressure of the second brake B2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
